According to the presidential press service, at the beginning of the meeting, the issue of countering the coronavirus pandemic was raised.

It was noted at the meeting that the number of treatment facilities and medical equipment in all regions has increased several times, the quality of emergency medical care and treatment has improved, the recovery rate has increased over the past week.

“It was emphasized that it is important to continue living and working in pandemic conditions while further strengthening the protection of life and health of our citizens, gradually easing the requirements of quarantine,” the statement reads.

The current coronavirus lockdown, introduced by the Special Republican Commission, is in force until August 15.
