Uzbekistan still far from the second wave of the pandemic - Khabibullo Okilov
A member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff Khabibullo Okilov explained when the second wave of coronavirus may begin in Uzbekistan.
“For the second wave to begin, the first wave must end. The first wave is considered to be ended when the last patient leaves the hospital. If after a certain period of time new cases of infection are registered, this will be the beginning of the second wave,” said the expert during the press conference held at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.
Khabibullo Okilov stressed that it is too early to speak about the second wave now.
Earlier, Okilov noted that the healthcare system of Uzbekistan is ready for easing the lockdown.
