Central banks of Uzbekistan and Russia to cooperate against hackers
Central banks of Uzbekistan and Russia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on countering cyberattacks, the press service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

The memorandum provides for the cooperation between the central banks of the two countries, aimed at preventing and detecting computer attacks in banking telecommunication systems, creating conditions for their suppression and increasing the level of information security of the parties.
“Cooperation in countering hackers’ attacks will facilitate the development of information security threat forecasts and increase the effectiveness of preventive strategies, the identification of causes of computer attacks and eliminating them, as well as other tasks connected with eliminating their consequences,” the press service noted.
