In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection in the country during the pandemic, to prevent applicants from sitting in one place for a long time, changes will be introduced to the admission exams for religious educational institutions under the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.
According to the responsible Department of the Committee on Religious Affairs, admission examinations in religious educational institutions will be held in the following manner:
At the Tashkent Islamic Institute and the Mir Arab Higher Madrasah
30 questions (tests) on “Fiqh and Aqeedah”, each correct answer is given 3.2 points, a total of 96 points;
30 questions (tests) on the subject “History of Uzbekistan”, each correct answer is given 3.1 points, a total of 93 points.
At the School of Hadith Studies
Creative exam on “Hadith and Mustalah Al-hadith”, a total of 96 points;
30 questions (tests) on the subject “History of Uzbekistan”, each correct answer is given 3.1 points, a total of 93 points.
Starting from the 2019-2020 academic year, the State Testing Center (STC) has introduced the practice of conducting admission exams in secondary specialized Islamic educational institutions under the auspices of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan in large-capacity buildings.
Admission exams for secondary specialized Islamic educational institutions for the 2020-2021 academic year are also planned to be held by the STC. The tests are planned to be conducted in large-capacity buildings under video surveillance in strict compliance with sanitary-hygienic rules, the STC statement reads.
