As the Dunyo information agency reports, the fourth special flight delivered 256 passengers to Uzbekistan, including 238 citizens of the Republic (4 newborn children). 18 American diplomats (employees of the US Embassy in Tashkent) also arrived in Uzbekistan.
“All passengers feel good and, in accordance with the established rules, will undergo a 10-day quarantine in specially designated areas and hotel complexes at the request of the passengers,” the message says.
According to the Embassy, as of July 31, 815 more people are expected to return to Uzbekistan.
“The Uzbek Embassy in Washington and the Consulate General in New York maintain constant contact with citizens. The passenger waiting list is updated daily by those wishing to fly home on the next charter flights,” the agency’s correspondents noted.
