“People are writing on social networks that classes might be conducted online on TV in the new academic year as well. I read their comments. But let’s have good intentions, let’s get rid of the virus first.
Our goal is to resume the activities of schools. But in parallel, online classes will continue on TV even if the children attend schools. Why? Because the opportunities are not the same everywhere in the republic, especially in remote areas. If we launch TV classes online, it will be an additional help to our pupils in those places.
There is a concept called "Flipped Classroom". In this case, homework is not given, instead, children watch more videos as homework. Pupils can have TV classes at home, at the same time they can have hands-on activities in the classroom. To continue this process, video lessons on television are also needed. Therefore, let’s have good intentions to open our schools in the new academic year,” Kun.uz correspondent quotes Sherzod Shermatov as saying.
