Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Tashkent
Shavkat Mirziyoyev has completed his working visit to the Russian Federation and left for Tashkent.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in a ceremony in Moscow on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. At the end of the parade, Mirziyoyev, together with the heads of other states, honored the memory of those killed in World War II by laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden. The military personnel of Uzbekistan also took part in the parade for the first time.
In total, 225 units of military equipment, 14 thousand soldiers and officers from 13 states were involved in the ceremony. 55 aircraft and 20 helicopters flew over the Russian capital during the event.
Within the framework of his visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited the Islam Karimov Square in Moscow and met with compatriots.
