Law enforcement officers arrested two people on the Sardoba case
The Prosecutor General’s Office has not disclosed the identities of the detainees.

A criminal case has been opened on the incident, which occurred on May 1 at the Sardoba reservoir, Syrdarya region, and two people were taken into custody as suspects.
This was announced by the Prosecutor General’s Office on May 23.
“Other details will not be disclosed in order to prevent cases of obstruction of truth in the incident. An investigation is underway,” the chief prosecuting body said.
According to Kun.uz sources, as part of the criminal investigation, on May 19, head of the Directorate for Operation and Development of Sardoba reservoir facilities F. D. was arrested.
Reportedly, other suspects involved in the incident will also be attracted to the investigation.
The criminal case is being investigated by the SSS bodies. A photo of the notification sent by the SSS to the Directorate for Operation and Development of Sardoba reservoir facilities under the JSC Uzbekistan Railways went viral on the Internet and various Telegram channels.
According to the notification, 33-year-old F. D. has been charged with committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 207, Paragraph “a” (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code.
