At the meeting, attention was paid to the development of economic sectors, poverty reduction and job creation. It was noted that in the Andijan region, there are more than 40 thousand low-income families, it is necessary to create sources of income for them.

“Deputy prime ministers, khokims and sector leaders should know the problems of every poor family and work with them,” Mirziyoyev said.

According to him, a staff for poverty reduction will be organized in each sector. Representatives of departments of the economy, finance, labor, investment, tax authorities and banks will be attached to the staff. The size of their wages will depend on the results achieved. 

“The right direction has not been worked out until now, guided only by numbers from statists, our people have not received any benefit from this. Suggestions should come from districts, from the people themselves. Ministers and leaders should work more in regions, remote villages, but not in their office. A leader, who does not show dedication in such a difficult situation, is equal to a traitor. You get paid thanks to the people. The closer the civil servant is to the people, the more results will be achieved locally. The supremacy of justice will be ensured,” the President emphasized.
