Man with a bag of marijuana detained in Akhangaran
On April 25, a man was detained near Tashkent with a bag containing two kilograms of marijuana.

According to the Investigation Department at the MIA, on April 25 at around 16:20 during the monitoring compliance with quarantine rules, residents of Angren were stopped in the Susam district of Akhangaran to verify their identity.
“When examining a brown bag of a 34-year-old man, it was found that there was a green substance with a specific smell, wrapped in a plastic bag. Subsequently, this substance was seized in the prescribed manner in the presence of witnesses,” the statement said.
A forensic chemical examination concluded that the substance was marijuana, with a total weight of 2,034 grams.
The Investigation Department has filed a criminal charge under Article 276, part 2, paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code.
