Not a single family, not a single person will be left without attention,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
Operational measures involve forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Water Resources, construction and repair organizations, law enforcement bodies and other services. Residents of mahallas living near the reservoir were evacuated to safe areas, in particular, they were placed in schools, colleges, enterprises, some of the victims were accommodated by residents of other mahallas.
“The personnel and special equipment of the Ministry of Defense were also involved in the population’s evacuation and equipping economic facilities. The territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard are involved in the evacuation and maintenance of the order,” the report said.
