Post of Deputy Minister for Digitalization of the Agrarian Sphere to appear at Ministry for ICT Development
In accordance with the presidential decree, the post of deputy minister responsible for accelerating digitalization in the agricultural sector will be created in the structure of the central apparatus of the Ministry for ICT Development.

In addition, there are two new offices being created: the Office for the Development of Digital Technologies in the agricultural field and the Office for the Development of Geoinformation Technologies.
As explained in the document, the ministry becomes an authorized body in the field of development of the digital economy and e-government.
The institution conducts a mandatory examination of projects and technical documentation of state bodies and organizations regarding the creation and usage of information systems, resources and other software products, as well as draft regulatory legal acts.
The President instructed to accelerate the formation of the digital economy, to double its share in the country's GDP by 2023, as well as to develop an e-government system to increase their share to 60% by 2022.
