Nurse in Karakalpakstan tests positive for coronavirus after treating patients
According to the Karakalpak Ministry of Health, on April 7, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Karakalpakstan reached 11.

Earlier, a man from Nukus and his mother were diagnosed with the coronavirus, and those who were in contact with them were quarantined.
According to the results of the analysis, the following people tested positive for COVID-19:
- the wife of the first patient and two of his daughters;
- the nurse and her daughter, who treated the first patient and his mother;
- the man who worked with the first patient;
- 3 men on a business trip from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
At present, the patients are being treated at the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital. Their condition is moderate.
An epidemiological investigation is underway.
