According to the Uzbek Embassy in London, due to the situation with the coronavirus pandemic, the British Interior Ministry has posted new rules on its official portal on extending visas of foreigners staying in the UK.
Reportedly, visas of citizens of Uzbekistan, who are unable to leave the United Kingdom due to travel restrictions and whose residence permits to stay in the country have expired, will be extended until 31 May 2020.
To do this, one should contact the UK Immigration Service by e-mail CIH@homeoffice.gov.uk, provide the necessary information (full name, citizenship, previous visa number) and a brief explanation of why he/she is currently unable to leave the country (e.g., closure of borders).
