“In order to ensure sanitary and epidemiological wellbeing of the population and prevent the spread of coronavirus, as well as in connection with the restriction of the entry and exit in the city of Tashkent, which is effective from March 24, 2020, the plenary session will be held in the form of a video-conference meeting,” the press service of the Upper Chamber said.
The reinforced regime against the spread of coronavirus infection was introduced on all territories of the Republic from March 24.
Considering that carriers of coronavirus infection are mainly detected in the city of Tashkent, and to prevent the spread of infection in other regions of the country, access to Tashkent from the regions by all means of transport (bus, minibus, car, plane and rail) has been restricted.
A mandatory medical check has been established to detect signs of coronavirus infection in people entering and leaving Tashkent.
