Coronavirus: All educational institutions in Uzbekistan will be closed from March 16
Due to the entry of coronavirus into Uzbekistan, students of all higher educational institutions, schoolchildren and pupils of preschool educational institutions will have holiday starting from March 16.

From March 16, all kindergartens, schools and universities in Uzbekistan will be closed for quarantine to prevent the coronavirus spread. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov at a briefing dedicated to discussing the measures to prevent the spread of the virus in the country.
According to Kun.uz source, the quarantine period in educational institutions is expected to last up to three weeks, and this term may be extended, depending on the situation.
