According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, since April 23, 2010, Uzbekistan has been included in the list of states whose citizens receive visas to enter Thailand at international points of entry to Thailand (24 airports and border crossing points in total) immediately upon their arrival in Thailand. A visa is issued for up to 15 days.

In addition to Uzbekistan, the Thai government canceled visas on arrival for Bulgaria, Bhutan, China (including Taiwan), Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Vanuatu. In total, the list includes 18 countries.
