According to the press service of the Kashkadarya regional administration, today, March 4, the khokim of Mirishkor district Bakhtiyor Rajabov was removed from his post.
Gayrat Begaliyev, the khokim of the Karshi district, replaced him.

Earlier, an audio recording, in which Bakhtiyor Rajabov grossly insulted his subordinates, went viral on social networks. Later, it was reported that the khokim insulted the chairmen of the district’s mahallas, who gathered for a meeting on February 28.
On the audio recording, one can hear how the khokim insulted the participants in the meeting with obscene expressions for not ensuring the adequate flow of funds. There was even the sound of blows.
Bakhtiyor Rajabov headed the Kasan district of Kashkadarya region in 2018, and was dismissed in December of the same year. However, in March 2019, he was appointed deputy khokim of the city of Karshi, and soon became deputy khokim of the region for agricultural and water issues. But in October 2019, after the resignation of the khokim, Zafar Ruziev, all his deputies, including Bakhtiyor Rajabov, were also fired. Consequently, he was appointed khokim of the Kasan district. As it was noted, this was the last chance given to Bakhtiyor Rajabov.
The previous khokim of Mirishkor district Ravshan Komilov was also dismissed from his post after he insulted an elderly man.
