People may be able to purchase real estate in Tashkent without a residence permit

From April 1, Uzbekistan plans to allow the purchase of real estate in Tashkent and Tashkent region without a residence permit. This is stated in the draft State Program for 2020.
In addition, developers of the document suggest abolishing the state duty rate for individuals for notarization of real estate purchase and sale agreements in new buildings in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region.
Currently, the state duty is set at 5% of the contract amount.
It should be recalled that in the course of his address to Oliy Majlis, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the parliament and government authorities to study international experience and develop concrete proposals for reforming the sphere by April 1.
