Ambassador of Uzbekistan hands over credentials to NATO Secretary General

Ambassador Dilyor Khakimov, Head of Uzbekistan Mission to NATO, presented his credentials to the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, in Brussels.
According to the MFA press service, the head of the organization praised the radical reforms and changes being carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which will maximize the huge potential of Uzbekistan and bring the country to a new stage of historical development.
During the meeting, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their development, in particular in the field of military education, as well as the efforts of the international community to ensure stability and security in Afghanistan were discussed.
Jens Stoltenberg emphasized the development of regional cooperation in Central Asia and welcomed the role of Uzbekistan in resolving the Afghan conflict.
