Methane gas station in Syrdarya embezzles natural gas worth 11.8 billion soums

In Syrdarya region, employees of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement (BCE), together with other organizations, conducted a corresponding check at the “Methane Gas” CNG filling station.

When checking the “Autopilot” meter, which supplies natural gas from the Gallaaral central line, it was found that the cable connected to the metering skid was completely disconnected for a long time.

Experts have established that the amount of damage (illegal consumption of natural gas) caused by the violation exceeded 11.8 billion soums. 

As Farrukh Toshpulatov, BCE employee, told Kun.uz, on December 2, a criminal case was opened under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan on the above fact.

The damage in the amount of 11.8 billion soums has already been fully repaid.
