Train hits to death an Uzbek citizen in Leningrad Oblast

A train with 1,500 tons of gravel hit an Uzbek man to death in the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad Oblast, the Russian Federation.
Around 20:00 on October 26, the Lomonosov district's police department received a message that a locomotive with 15 cars loaded with 1,500 tons of gravel had hit a pedestrian on the railway line near Novogorelovo. The man died as a result of his fatal injuries. It was identified that he was a 42-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan. According to preliminary data, he worked at the nearest construction site and was returning from a store.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan confirmed this information. The man was hospitalized at the Central City Hospital of Sol-Iletsk. On October 21, he died in the above medical institution.
