New TV channel may be established in Uzbekistan

A petition on establishment of a new TV channel - “AGRO TV” has been proposed on the collective reference portal “My opinion”.

“Today the changes and reforms in the Republic, which are carried out in the agricultural sector, are making people happy,” the petitioner writes.

It is noted that at present, many preferential loans are being issued for greenhouse production, poultry, ostrich farming, cattle breeding, pepper production, cotton cultivation, as well as gardening. Novelties are being implemented in the field of agriculture day-to-day.

“However, most of the people don’t know about them. To this end, it is necessary to set up a special TV channel - AGRO TV to teach people “secrets” of agriculture. It will provide more detailed information about agricultural innovations,” the petition says.
