More than 400 Uzbek citizens perform Hajj through Russia's quota in 2019

This year, 419 Uzbeks performed Hajj through the quota of Russia, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoyev told reporters.
“I want to note our appreciation that this year for the first time the Russian side, namely Ilyas Umakhanov (Deputy Chairman of the RF Federation Council), let 419 Uzbek citizens living in Russia go to Hajj through the RF quota. This is an indicator of goodwill,” the senator said.
According to the agreements with each country, Saudi Arabia allocates a quota for each state depending on the number of population.
