A draft presidential decree “On improving the state monetary policy and raising the effectiveness of government and Central Bank activities to ensure price stability in the economy” has been published on the portal of discussing draft normative-legal acts.
The draft document approves the draft “roadmap” for improving monetary policy and joint actions of the government and the Central Bank to ensure price stability and achieve inflation targets.
According to the draft roadmap, the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Ministry of Finance will be instructed to strengthen the legal guarantees of business entities, as well as prohibit the provision of individual tax and customs benefits.
In addition, the above ministries will review the practice of providing subsidies, preferences and soft loans.
It is also planned to develop market mechanisms in public procurement, tendering and resource allocation (including in the fuel, energy and mining sectors), increasing the transparency of their implementation.
