A system of continuous professional development to be introduced for university rectors, deputy rectors and teachers

On September 23, 2019, the government adopted a resolution “On additional measures to improve the system of continuous training for university rectors, deputy rectors and teachers.”
In accordance with the document, from October 1, 2019, a system of continuous training is introduced for rectors, deputy rectors and teachers of universities.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Educational Technology Department will be created at professional development centers.
The resolution approved the Procedure for organizing the process of continuous training for managers and teachers of universities.
The procedure provides for the following organization of continuing education:
- independent advanced training in a specialty;
- alternative advanced training;
- training and advanced training of certain personnel at professional development centers.
