Chief sanitary doctor, sanitary inspector of Uzbekistan appointed
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed Nurmat Atabekov as head of the Main Department of Sanitary-Epidemiology Surveillance, and Bahrom Almatov as director of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare Agency.


Thus, Atabekov became the chief sanitary inspector of the country, and Almatov – the chief sanitary doctor.
Previously, Atabekov was the director of the Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Communicable Diseases and Almatov served as chief physician of the Republican Center of State Sanitary-Epidemiology Surveillance.
