The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education published an appeal by representatives of the higher education system to the people of Uzbekistan.

“As you know, a teacher in the East has always been a symbol of wisdom, moral purity and honesty. Unfortunately, individuals who came into the field of education by chance, without any idea about it and put their interests above the interests of the people, caused the reputation of educational institutions to be undermined. For the Uzbek people, who are wary of unscrupulous acts, possessing high spirituality and culture and the highest respect for science, corruption is absolutely incompatible,” representatives of the higher education system said. 

According to them, it is considered a criminal phenomenon to be involved in corruption of young people who are just beginning to go on their own way with pure thoughts, confidence in their future.

Representatives of the higher education system acknowledged the fact that corruption among senior officials in the higher education system has not disappeared.

“We, leaders of the higher education system, numerous rectors together with the faculty professors and members of the public, promise to fight corruption and honestly serve the future of our children, for the prosperity of our Motherland,” they concluded.
