The social-democratic party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” held a video-conference meeting to discuss its program and the pre-election program, UzA reports.
At the meeting, the chairman of the social-democratic party Narimon Umarov called on everyone to participate actively with practical proposals.
Activists proposed to further improve the judicial system. According to the proposal, it is necessary to unite the inter-district courts on civil, criminal, economic and administrative matters under a single judicial body and establish the courts of general jurisdiction aligned with the Supreme Court system.
In addition, it was proposed to unite all investigative departments in the country and to set up the single Investigative Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting participants emphasized that without ensuring the transparency and reducing the human factor in the judicial system, it is impossible to formulate courts as a defender of justice.
It should be recalled that several law enforcement agencies in Uzbekistan are investigating. In particular, pre-investigation check itself is carried out by the followings:
- Internal Affairs bodies;
- National Guard bodies;
- State Security Service bodies;
