An event, dedicated to introducing the new head of the Tashkent city department of the “Yuksalish” Nationwide Movement and informing the media about the organization’s plans and projects, was held at the Tashkent city administration.
Reportedly, Dilshod Shoumarov was elected head of the “Yuksalish” Nationwide Movement’s Tashkent city department.
The “Yuksalish” Nationwide Movement was organized in accordance with the presidential decree PF-5635 of January 17, 2019. It aims to promote implementation of large-scale reforms in the country, including state programs. It also deals with uniting citizens, compatriots living abroad and non-governmental non-profit organizations.
For information: Dilshod Shoumarov was born on July 31, 1964 in Tashkent. He graduated from Tashkent State University (in 1986) and Tashkent State University of Economics (in 2000). He is an Orientalist, Master of International Business. He began his career in 1986 as a Senior Inspector of International Department at Tashkent State University. In 2015, he was elected a deputy of the Tashkent city Council of People’s Deputies. Since 2014, he has been working as the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the UzLiDeP Political Council for ideological and propaganda-advocacy issues.
