President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a decree “On measures for further provision of tax and customs benefits”.

According to the document, starting from August 1, 2019, individual entrepreneurs rendering intermediary services to telecommunication operators and (or) providers, who received over 100 million soums from the sale of services for a calendar year, but not more than one billion soums, will start paying single tax payment at a rate of 25% from the amount of service fee.

For example, paynet service providers, who earn over 100 million soums, receive a monthly fee of 2.5% of the amount sold. Nevertheless, as an individual entrepreneur, they have to pay a tax of 4% of all earnings.

With the presidential decree, this problem is proposed a solution: now the above-mentioned businessmen pay a quarter of the earned sum (2.5%) as a tax.

At the same time, some other issues have also been solved. In particular, about 4,500 individual entrepreneurs, rendering intermediary services to telecommunication operators and (or) providers, will preserve their employment stably.
