Now the heads of the press services of state bodies are equal in status to the deputy head of a ministry or department. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov on his Facebook page, with reference to Saida Mirziyoyeva’s statement.

According to the Deputy PM, on June 27, the Deputy Head of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications Saida Mirziyoyeva congratulated the media workers on their professional holiday.

She also said that according to the presidential decree, the heads of the press services of state bodies are now equal in status to the deputy head of a ministry or department.

“In other words, now heads of the press services of state bodies are actually deputy ministers or the chairmen of the state committee,” Aziz Abdukhakimov concluded.
