State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan held talks with the founder of the company Mystery Box and video blogger Jacob Schwartz for the purpose of filming a short video clip, which would reveal the beauty of the country's architectural, historical and cultural heritage, The Mag reports.
The footage will be broadcast in Dubai's major malls.
The director himself, who shoots in 8K resolution, has already visited the most “non-tourist” places: mountains, ponds, fields and much more.
Jacob also visited Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.
The premiere of the video is scheduled for early July.
For information, 8K resolution refers to any screen or display with around 8000 pixels width. 8K UHD, also known as UHD-2, is the current highest ultra-high definition television (UHDTV) resolution in digital television, digital cinematography and digital signage.
Only a few countries including Morocco, the USA, Japan and Peru have at their disposal similar video materials revealing the tourist potential of these countries. Now Uzbekistan will be among them.
