Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, during the first meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of governments, said that bilateral trade with Uzbekistan will reach $10 billion in the near future.
“As I said earlier, trade turnover between our countries increased by 20-25%, reaching $4.5 billion,” he said.
According to Medvedev, this is one of the highest indicator among the CIS countries.
“Positive growth will continue this year, so the task is to bring the trade turnover to $10 billion,” the Russian Prime Minister said.
