Prosecutor General: People should stop offering bribes to BCE officers

Today, on May 4, during the plenary session, senators listened to the report of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
“Very often they criticize employees of the Bureau of Compulsory Execution. According to the data, four employees have already died, more than 100 received various injuries, 4,690 left their posts on their own accord, as they could not work in such a dangerous and unpleasant situation.
In addition, we dismissed 281 employees for corruption, 61 were prosecuted. Such figures have never been seen in the recent history of the prosecutor's office. In social networks it is often said that the time has come to “clean up the prosecution authorities” from corruption. Please note that 82 employees reported that they were offered bribes. We must stop offering bribes,” Otabek Murodov said.
He also noted that in 2018, 1,907 persons were prosecuted for corruption.
