Tashkent city administration ready to disclose information on largest tax payers

Tashkent city administration announced that it is ready to disclose the largest taxpayers in the capital. Anyone can send a request and get information about the company that interests them.

“Do you want to know how much tax companies pay? In connection with the introduction of a new concept of taxation in our country this year, citizens are requesting information on the tax payments of some large companies. The Tashkent city administration in order to compile a complete list of companies asks you to send the name of the large company you are interested in,” reported on the city administration’s Facebook page.

According to the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, Navoi MMC and Almalyk MMC are among the three largest taxpayers in the country.

The total share of the two MMCs in the budget revenues of 2018 was 8.1%, 5% from the contribution of Navoi, and 3.1% from the Almalyk MMC. The share of Uztransgaz Joint-Stock Company is 5.1% in budget revenues this year. In total, there are 20 major taxpayers in the republic, who provide 1/3 of the revenue to the state budget.
