A resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On establishing the state badge of loyalty in culture and art" was adopted.

According to the resolution, a breast plate "Loyalty in culture and art" has been established. It will be awarded to citizens who have worked hard to develop culture and art in the country, to promote the Uzbek culture and art worldly, to realize artistic potential young gifted people. The breast plate may also be awarded to non-citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The district (city) departments of culture submit their proposals on awarding with the breast plate to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, cultural departments of regions and Tashkent city by October 1 each year.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional departments of culture and the Tashkent city general directorate of culture will review the proposals in the prescribed manner and submit to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan by November 1 each year.

Republican organizations and associations under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Art of Uzbekistan, the National Agency "Uzbekkino", the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, the Association of Composers of Uzbekistan, other ministries and departments shall submit their proposals on presenting breast plates to the Ministry until November 1 annually. 

At the meeting of a working group on reviewing candidates for the breast plate, the candidate documents will be examined and a final conclusion will be made on candidates who will be nominated by December 1 each year.

Order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan on awarding the breastplate is issued till December 10 each year.

The breastplate and its certificate are handed over annually by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan (or other responsible persons) on the eve of New Year every year.
