By an order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the head of the traffic safety department of Tashkent city was appointed.

According to the press service of the Interior Ministry, Lieutenant Colonel Rafikjon Jalilov became the new head of the traffic safety department of the capital city.

Prior to his appointment, he served as commander of a special division of the traffic patrol department of Tashkent city.

It should be recalled that the former head of the traffic safety department of Tashkent Barat Mamenov was dismissed from his post in May 2018. The responsibilities of the head of the department were temporarily performed by the first deputy head of the traffic safety department Jamshid Juraev.

In July 2018, the media reported that head of the main security department of the Tashkent city Bekmurod Abdullayev was appointed head of the traffic safety department of the capital city. Then the Ministry of Interior denied this information.
