The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation opened a section dedicated to the International Army Games – 2019 on its website. During the event, it will be possible to watch tank biathlon competitions online, the newspaper of the Russian Armed Forces “Red star” reports.

"Visitors of the military department website will be able to see daily races of the “Tank biathlon” competition and the best moments of the stages of other ARMI-2019 competitions, track the results shown by combat crews at each stage and teams' position in the tournament tables, as well as learn interesting facts about ARMI-2019,” the report reads.

Now the new section provides information about rules of the competition and refereeing, participants, the time and place of stages. Prior to the start of games, the site sections will inform about qualifying stages in the Armed Forces of Russia, preparation of training grounds, teams, military and special equipment for the international stage of ARMI-2019.

“During ARMI-2019, the multimedia section of the Russian Ministry of Defense website will be saturated around-the-clock with relevant and high-quality content – operational news, vivid photo illustrations and exclusive video materials covering the final competitions of military pro teams in detail,” the newspaper writes.

ARMI games will be held in 2019 for the fifth time. Competitions will be held on the territory of 10 countries – Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and Uzbekistan. Organizers expect the participation of more than 6000 troops. The final competition of ARMI-2019 will be held on August 3-17.
