On March 7, in the Bangabhaban Palace (Dhaka), the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan with residence in Delhi Farhod Arziyev presented his credentials to the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid.

According to the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, during the conversation following the ceremony, the head of Bangladesh conveyed his sincere greetings and best wishes to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and expressed the interest of the Bangladeshi side in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan in the political, trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

President Abdul Hamid stressed that bilateral relations have traditionally been friendly, and expressed confidence that the accreditation of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Bangladesh will serve to further enhance the comprehensive cooperation between our countries and peoples.
