Uzbekistan will reach an agreement with Azerbaijan and Estonia on international road haulage. This is stated in the action plan for negotiations with foreign countries on cooperation in the field of transport and logistics.

In particular, coordination between Azerbaijan and Estonia will be carried out with a foreign party to sign bilateral projects on international automobile transportation. In addition, similar agreements with Afghanistan will be developed.

Implementation period – December 1, 2019. Executive bodies – Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also, negotiations with foreign companies, including railway enterprises of Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and China will be held to provide competitive rates and discounts for diversification of transport corridors.

Implementation period – by the end of 2019. Executive bodies – Ministry of Transport, JSC Uzbekistan Railways.
