The head of the Russian Health Ministry Veronika Skvortsova will visit Uzbekistan on March 6-7, the MFA of Uzbekistan reports.
In the course of negotiations, it is planned to discuss the possibility of building a medical center and opening a branch of one of the medical universities of the Russian Federation in Tashkent.
“During the meetings, the parties will exchange views on the possibility of opening a branch of one of the medical universities in Russia and building a modern multi-disciplinary medical center in Tashkent,” the Uzbek Foreign Ministry added.
According to the Ministry, Ms. Skvortsova will get acquainted with the activities of the Republican specialized scientific-practical medical center of surgery named after the academician V. Vakhidov, the Republican specialized scientific-practical medical center of cardiology and several other medical institutions of Uzbekistan.
