Representatives of the leading travel agencies of Central and Eastern Europe were introduced the sights of Uzbekistan. The Embassy of the Republic in Vienna, the Association of Travel Agents of Austria and the State Committee of Tourism, as well as the insurance company Generali organized for them a media presentation and a professional seminar-training.
Participants of the event were told that new directions of tourism - ecological, gastronomic, agrarian, sports, health and fitness, folklore, ethnographic, cultural and educational and others, are being widely developed in Uzbekistan.
“In addition to the traditional tourism centers of our country - Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, a separate attention was paid to new tourist destinations, including the sights of Namangan and Surkhandarya regions. In particular, participants were interested in the ancient archaeological monument Akhsikent,” the message says.
According to the press service of the MFA, representatives of the travel companies participating in the events expressed their readiness to take part in the work of the 25th Tashkent International Tourism Fair.
