Influential religious leaders of the Islamic world meet in Bukhara

The I International Forum on Ziyorat Tourism has started in ancient Bukhara.

The forum has been organized by the help of the State Committee for Tourism Development under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the Charity Public Foundation “Vaqf”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bukhara region’s administration and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Foreign delegations from more than 120 authoritative organizations of the Islamic world, prominent religious figures, university students, tour guides, representatives of academic circles and travel companies are attending the forum. 
  
It is noteworthy that many prominent scholars such as Abdukholik Gijduvani, Mukhammad Arif Revgaryi, Makhmud Anjir Fagnavi, Khoja Ali Romitaniy, Mukhammad Boboy Samosi, Sayyid Amir Kulol and Bakhauddin Nakshbandi, were all brought up here contributing to the development of Islam. 

That is why today, citizens of India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran and other countries, who practice Islam, are eager to visit Bukhara and its sacred sites.

Participants of the event were welcomed at the Bukhara railway station.

“I have long dreamed of coming to Uzbekistan,” the editor-in-chief of the Pakistani publication “Diplomatic News Agency” Ansar Makhmoud Bhatti said. “Thanks to the I International Forum on Ziyorat Tourism, I was able to visit your country and sacred places in Bukhara – one of the most sacred places in the Islamic world. So, I would like to provide online information about the tourism infrastructure facilities and conditions created for tourists here”.
