The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications held a meeting with an Indian expert J. Partasarati. He was asked to visit Uzbekistan as an adviser on creating a techno-park in Tashkent and provide consultations on its management, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

First Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Olimjon Umarov noted the extensive experience of the Indian expert in creating similar IT-parks.

In India, such large government projects as creation of the data management centers and incubation centers for promoting entrepreneurship have been implemented under the expert’s leadership. He has been running a technology park in Bangalore (India) for a long time. Currently, Mr. Partasarati is an Advisor at the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

The Indian expert expressed readiness to make necessary efforts for creating a successful techno-park in Uzbekistan. He emphasized that his main task is to introduce the advanced and long-term Indian experience in creating and organizing the work of information technology parks in Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that in early January, the government of Uzbekistan signed a decree on creation of a technological park of software products and information technologies based on advanced Indian experience.
