Minister of Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev becomes Minister of Agriculture
Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Yusupov has been dismissed. Kun.uz correspondent reports about it.
It is noted that Minister of Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev occupied the post of Minister of Agriculture.

Jamshid Khodjayev was born in 1979. He graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics in 2000 and from Birmingham University, UK, in 2003 with a degree in International Economic Relations and Public Administration. During his career he worked at the Central Bank, the National Bank and the Accounting Chamber. At the end of 2017, he was appointed Foreign Trade Minister.
It is worth recalling that in February 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources was divided into two independent bodies. Shortly thereafter, heads of ministries of agriculture and water resources were assigned. In compliance with a presidential decree, Bakhodir Yusupov, who served as chairman of the Farmers' Council of Uzbekistan, was appointed Minister of Agriculture, and Shavkat Hamrayev, the Deputy Minister for Water Resources of the previous ministry, was appointed Minister of the newly established state body.

It is not made public yet where Bakhodir Yusupov has been transferred.
