State Committee on Competition: There are 140 natural monopolies in Uzbekistan

Following the results of 2018, there are 140 natural monopolies in Uzbekistan, which follows from the data of the State Competition Committee. It should be noted that their number was 148 in 2017.
In 2018, the register changed several times, in particular, a number of companies were removed in the field of natural gas transportation through pipelines, but new ones have been added.
Natural monopoly - enterprises united by a single sales organization; the state of the commodity market, in which the satisfaction of demand in this market is more efficient in the absence of competition due to the technological features of production.
