According to Nazirjon Jurayev, current advisor to the governor of Navoi region on investment and innovations, who served as an Assistant Manager for managing business premises until 2018 at the company Jones Lang LaSalle, a branch of one of the German universities could be opened in Navoi region. “First of all, it is important to note that German universities have superior competencies in the providing qualified engineers in comparison to other countries. On the other hand, the tuition fees are also affordable for our people. The universities that we are targeting are the top 500 universities in the international ranking. For example, we are negotiating with Rhine-Westphalian Technical University of Aachen. We will definitely connect with other universities as well use all possibilities to attract them,” Mr. Jurayev said.
According to him, one of the main tasks of the region is the creation of an investment bank, which will provide loans to corporations and investors, assist in the transfer of international financial resources.
“In addition, a lot of projects are expected. One of them is organization of entertaining eco-parks in cities and districts, further brightening Navoi city, regulating car parking spaces.
Among one of the most important things is that we are planning to increase the number of additional language courses or affordable education centers at schools. If our people have additional suggestions, we will be glad to hear them, we will consider each proposal,” the regional governor's adviser said.
For information, Mr. Jurayev began his duties in January 2019. Prior to that, he worked as a manager at the LTD Oceanic Village in England. He is a graduate of the London School of Accounting and Finance, as well as Anglia Ruskin University and told that he has been working to attract investments of two international banks.
