In accordance with the Concept of tourism development and plan of measures for 2019-2025, the State Committee on Tourism plans to work out a single national tourism brand of Uzbekistan.
As a result, each region of the country will receive its own tourist brand.
“Uzbekistan’s each region should be recognized in the tourism market. An important step in this direction is the creation of logos of tourist brands in the regions. They will be created in the near future for all places that are attractive for the development of tourism. The process of creating them has already begun. Unfortunately, it was not successful in all regions. In some cases, for one reason or another, it was necessary to take a decision on the cancellation of the approved logo,” the committee noted.
In addition, a strategy will be adopted to promote the tourist brand of Uzbekistan in foreign markets and the approval of marketing programs to endorse the tourist brand of the regions separately for each country.
This will also help develop a plan of activities for cooperation with foreign companies and agencies to form a positive image of Uzbekistan. In the promotion, popular foreign TV channels and other media will be attracted.
The concept includes the development and publication of tourist maps of Uzbekistan and the regions with the placement of electronic versions on tourist portals, as well as the creation of 3D models of attractions in the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz and other parts of the country for placement in popular Internet websites.
