Recently, Uzbek chefs prepared pilaf for 10,000 people at the festival of cultural heritage named after Sheikh Zayed in Abu Dhabi, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
A traditional Uzbek dish - pilaf, was prepared on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Sheikh Zayed. The pilaf, intended for 10,000 people, weighed over 2 tons.
The evening meal was prepared in a huge cauldron and 8 small cauldrons installed in one of the central squares. 30 Uzbek cooks participated in preparing the pilaf. The process of cooking and distribution of dishes was accompanied by traditional Uzbek motifs and dance performances.
It should be noted that the cultural heritage festival in Abu Dhabi began on December 2 of this year and is continued until January 26, 2019.
